Victoria Brattan

 

I have specialised in Paediatric Physiotherapy since 2003 after completing a wide range of rotations through all other specialities.

I have advanced assessment and treatment skills built up from 23 years of experience working in the field of paediatric physiotherapy.

 I have a passion for working with children and their families in order to help them achieve their goals.

I am incredibly proud to be a Chartered Physiotherapist and I am  dedicated to providing excellent service and providing evidence based practice. I achieve this in part by being a member of the Association of Paediatric Chartered Physiotherapists.

I have also worked on behalf of the Orthopaedic Consultant team and have been trained in specialist assessment techniques including x-ray interpretation in order to  deliver diagnosis and management plans on their behalf.

I am able to diagnose a wide array of conditions and  recognise when onward referral or investigation is needed.

Over my extensive career in paediatric physiotherapy I have treated children with a huge variety of conditions using many different recognised techniques.

I really enjoy working with children and purposely put them at the centre of the session in order to engage them and help them to reach their potential.

 

Based in Elloughton East Yorkshire, I qualified as a Physiotherapist from the University of Huddersfield in 1999 and have worked in both the NHS and the private sector.
