All personal and business information supplied by you will be treated  as confidential. No infomation will be disclosed  to any third party without your prior permission, except where required by law or where action might be necessary to protect you or someone else. We may collect the following information by email, telephone call, virtual  or face to face in an appointment, examples are:

  • Family details
  • Health and Lifestyle information
  • Current medication and medication history
  • Medical reports from other healthcare professionals
  • Details of current problem
  • Treatments to date

What is this information used for ?

  • Internal record keeping.
  • Recording of the initial assessment so compare start and end outcomes of treatment.
  • Provision of ongoing physiotherapy services and intervention.

In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, secure systems and procedures have been put in place to safeguard and secure the information we collect. Victoria Brattan Children's Physiotherapy  is fully committed to always ensuring that your privacy is protected.

Your Rights

  • You have the right to request a copy of the  personal data that we hold about you at any time.
  • All patient records for children have to be kept until the patient is 25 (or 26 if they are 17 when treatment ends) or eight years after their death if sooner.
  • Victoria Brattan is registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
